WHAT IS A LIMITED EDITION?
The edition-or the print run of a particular image is "limited" to a certain number only and no more. This number usually consists of 75 to 100 prints. This limited edition makes the print more valuable to the collector. Images are printed using quality archival materials, whether it be the paper or the inks. The print is signed and numbered below or on the image.
WHAT IS A GICLEE?
Giclée is french for "to spray." Giclée is the term commonly used for what is currently the most advanced digital fine art printmaking technology. These prints can very closely match the original piece of art due to the millions of possible hues of inks available. Images are generated from high resolution digital scans and printed with archival quality inks onto various surfaces, usually archival paper or canvas.
